A new development version of Zabbix 5.2 has been released, which comes with more than 35 new features and enhancements, including:
- export templates in YAML, XML and JSON format,
- new templates for different applications, Memcached, HAProxy, Asterisk, Oracle,
- new IoT support - Modbus and MQTT - supported in Zabbix Agent2,
- new integrations for alerts
- the possibility to set the time zone in the user profile,
- testing SNMP OID values in the form.
"With this release, we are getting closer to a new era of monitoring. We're expanding Zabbix's capabilities with such important features as comprehensive scenario-based monitoring, native support for IoT protocols, and the most stringent security standards, " says Alexey Vladishev, Zabbix founder and CEO.
Zabbix monitoring provides instant integration with messaging, ticketing and alerting systems. The new release expands the list of supported services and applications that can be effortlessly monitored. Deploy Zabbix with a single click on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM/RedHat Cloud, Oracle, Yandex and Digital Ocean.
Zabbix introduced new one-day training courses
Along with the major technical enhancements of the Zabbix 5.2 release, the company is coming out with four new one-day online training sessions aimed at deepening users' knowledge in specific areas. The first four courses available will be "Automation and Integration with Zabbix APIs," "Zabbix Preprocessing," "Advanced Zabbix Security Management," and "Advanced Problem and Anomaly Detection with Zabbix.
